Introduction:
Bridle rolls provide tension on the strip so that it travels at a predetermined tension and speed. Bridle rolls are driven rolls that coil strip passes through in a coil process line. They can be arranged in a 2 roll, 3 roll and 4 roll configuration. Since the diameters of bridle rolls are much larger than a pinch roll, they are able to create tension on the strip by the friction created as the strip contacts the outside roll face.
Bridle rolls could be driving rolls and passive rolls. Driving rolls provide pulling force for coil strip and passive rolls would be in power generation status. When the coil strip is in low speed, pressure rolls are working to generate necessary tension.
We adding relatively more Chromium alloy elements in its outer layer brings a special carbide structure. Compared with normal roll, it has higher wear resistance, hardness, strength, and campaign rolling tonnage. The core part adopts alloy spheroidal graphite(SGP) to ensure the roll's integral strength.
Advantages in production line:
*.To prevent coil strip from deviating on normal track.
*.Help opening the coil strip and taking up.
*.Get the coil strip straightening and smooth.
*.Reduce the deformation resistance/work of the strip.
Applications:
Continuous Galvanizing Line.
Cold steel strip production line.
