Introduction:
Acicular spheroid graphite cast iron roll is added with Ni, Cr, Mo to change the matrix into the acicular micro structure. Compared with Spheroid Graphite Pearlite Roll, SGA has better strength, toughness, and wear resistance.
The addition of NiCrMo to the roll improves its microstructure, which in turn improves its strength, toughness, and wear resistance. This makes Acicular spheroid graphite cast iron roll a better option than SGA in applications where high strength, toughness, and wear resistance are required.
