Introduction:
CC HSS gets high content of alloy element Cr, W, Mo, V, Nb. With the heat treatment, CC HSS gets special carbide, tempered martensite and troostite microstructure. The wear resistance and thermal stability of CC HSS are very excellent.
The wear resistance of CCHSS is very good due to its high hardness and abrasion resistance. In applications where it needs to withstand sliding, rolling, or cutting forces, CCHSS can maintain its sharpness and surface integrity for longer than other materials, such as conventional steels or carbide alloys.
